Who knows where you leave off and God begins? This question is commonly understood within the teachings of New Thought. It is further understood that all of life is interrelated and that any action, gesture or intention directed toward another ultimately affects the whole and brings joy or the distasteful to the one who had set it forth. So today and everyday we are consciously and lovingly building a greater understanding of the importance of love and compassion toward one another. We are taking action today to recognize and acknowledge the talents and abilities; the goodness, kindness and other wonderful attributes of others so as to build a true humanity. This ultimately will bring into our personal understanding the building of a better experience for ourselves while creating a better and more peace-filled world.

LIVING IN FREEDOM

"I am free". We understand this statement of our inherent rights. We take our freedom for granted; yet, on occasion something may come along that may shake our resolve. Dependence upon the world can cause one to focus on conditions; conversely, in God freedom sustains. To Spirit and the process of Creative Law all things are possible. Possibilities rest in your freedom to choose and advance those choices. Desire is paramount to your living in freedom. Through the imagining of your desires you exemplify the action of Spirit to increase. Creative Law then takes your desires causing them to experience. Accept the fullness of this inherent freedom by consciously giving your desires over to the Creative Law. Freedom is yours this day, because...

LIVING LIFE OUT LOUD

Stagnant water was once flowing water that became sidetracked from its flow, and that which was perfect became impure. (Ernest Holmes) Life is circulation; interruption breeds stagnation. Ideas, artistry, fortune, enterprise, love – all good things - emanate of the Creative Self, the Higher Reality of Being. Deep within, beyond intellect and worldly fortune, the substance of Spirit is ever providing opportunity and experience, which is designed to flow through you. You are the means by which the Greater Reality – God – expresses Itself in your world. Because you have been gifted freedom of choice, the way you choose to express life either honors and activates - or stagnates and restricts - the natural storehouse of this abundant flow. Give way, allow and demonstrate the Reality of all that you were meant to be. It is already natural to you. ‘Live Life Out Loud’. Come out of the silence of constraint and open up to the free-flow of your Amazing Self.

The Birth of a New Era in Conscious Evolution

The great books of antiquity bear out individuals of high intellect throughout the centuries; yet spiritual awakening was revealed through few. The advent of “The Christ” – Good expressing through man/woman – is indicative of advancements in conscious evolution. Where the Law of Moses was given at a time when a strict adherence was imperative, the birth of a new idea in human evolution was inevitable as Jesus came “…to fulfill the Law.” The birth of the ‘Master Teacher’ signified that humanity had evolved to a new plateau and was now prepared to express at the higher level, as a Spiritual Being. Jesus exemplified the love for a God of benevolence and that of his neighbor. He showed how to live in the action of ‘doing’ and ‘being’ The Law through a deeper intent to fulfill its highest aim, the Oneness of All Life.

Moving Up with Gratitude

‘God the Good’ is Constant a Principle of Life which is inalterable to our whims. God can only give and has given us everything we could ask for and more. ‘Before you asked it was given’ ... it was there all the time. Giving praise expands acceptance and opens the channels to receive. It is you and I who find benefit by praise and thanksgiving; it is you and I that are lifted into the cornucopia of the Divine. Open yourself up to more by recognizing the Indwelling Presence as your Unwavering Source. This is just the beginning of which there is no end it is constant and real. Rejoice in it with praise and thanksgiving.

Lightness of Being

God cannot know Itself except through YOU. The only intent of Spirit is that the individual live life full out. Wherever you restrict yourself you shield your inner light - the Light of Spirit - from its full expression. A healthy relationship is built on a healthy YOU. Joy in your spiritual nature and by doing so you allow others to be drawn to YOU without need, without dependency. An independent YOU generates a healthy involved YOU. You are the creation. The action of your living is to hold a clear intention for yourself and in so doing, to create a healthier YOU that can love and be loved, that can give and receive, that can delight in the Light of Being.

Expectancy of Good

There is an all-powerful infinite Presence and Power back of, within and through everything. For this Power or Presence - which is God of work it must move in accordance with its nature. We know of no energy in nature that can work to destroy itself (Ernest Holmes). Being Infinite it cannot move against itself or all would be destroyed. A Divine Goodness is the Power back of all things. Good is and sustains within the eternality of the Infinite. This understanding frees us from worry and conflicting thoughts of a morbid and destructive God. The final truth - absolute reality - God is good. Good / God is one, through-in and throughout.
Affirm: God, Divine and most Perfect Presence is right were I am right now and therefore available to me.
* Expect and know that goodness is ever expressing and flowing in your life.
* Expect Goodness as your life.
* Expect and know you are the emanation of God, All-Good and Eternal.

A FRESH START
To many people September signifies the return to regimentation and the mundane; while to others it is stimulating a new learning and the reinvigoration of friendships. Although much may appear to be the same it is all new, advanced by Life and personal stimulation. That which underlies it all is a Power, a Presence and an Intelligence which can inspire and at the same time direct and guide. There is an expectant joy as Divine Mind moves through in and throughout it all; and a Law that responds to your whims and concentrated desires, with a clear intention of saying ‘Yes’ to everything you could possibly imagine. It is as if God had created only you and did for only you - lived for only you. Without ego or self-centeredness you are in the midst of It all. So it is time to refresh, to renew and know that it was all meant for you. NOW!

LIVING THE PEACE

Faith is Power. The Universe was created and is sustained by the very thing we place our faith in. There is nothing to rely upon but the Absolute. Worldly speculation, hesitations and deliberations on violence impact our beliefs and taint our trust in Universal Perfection. For the optimum impact to reduce violence, take the quantum leap into a new dimension of consciousness. Allow yourself to “feel the feelings of peace” throughout your day. Observe your moods and attitudes; embrace the Greater in you; gently allow for peace-filled renewal at every turn.

Opening Up to a Higher Idea

Ideas spring forth from the subconscious. They are gifts from the Divine, entrusted to you for their working. Each time an idea comes to you no matter how grand, no matter its seeming impossibility, it is Divine, therefore possible. Look at these ideas as Reality pushing out toward conception. And, the smallest of nods from you will spark an energy, triggering a series of happenings, thus trumpeting in the fullness of all you have imagined. Trust and know: I am your partner through all endeavors. Trust in me and I will bring forth an action that will actualize all your dreams. Trust in me, for You are the greatest of all my creations; and together as One, all things shall be known as possible.

PRACTICAL SPIRITUAL

There is no greater comfort than to know that All is God. All flows of the Source of being. All is sustained within the fullness of that Truth. Nothing can destroy or interfere with the Good at the heart of It all; because It is all - One. This is a practical approach to life. It is not esoteric, obscure or mysterious. It is neither "wishy washy" - "willy nilly" nor anything beyond the realm of practical living. There is no God out there. It is all in here - within your heart, within your mind - within the framework of your being. You cannot step out of God, as you are immersed in the fullness of it All. That is Practical Spirituality. You can use this understanding in every area of your life: in all that you are and all that you do. You are never separated from It and It responds to your every need as if you were the only one It was acting through, effortless living through you, in all your ways.

PURPOSE and DIRECTION

Within all individuals is a voice of reason and a clear intuitive. As we travel the soul path, we need to take time to entertain the directives of our inner knowing, dispelling the need to reason. Signposts along the way indicate detours as the journey engenders challenges - apparent road blocks to our particular choices. New construction can be trying; yet, it is the adjustments we make in life which often become the most stimulating of life's journey. We are forever guided in the forging of new opportunities to live this life in fullness and joy. The journey, indeed, begins with the first step, which is NOW.

TRANSCENDENCE

We all seek to know ourselves in a deeper way, to release the ache which haunts so many. Longing comes of a deep desire to renew with the Truth of Being. You are spiritual by nature; all anxiety emanates from the hunger to promote a greater understanding of this Truth. Transcendence is to rise into the fullness of who and what you are as Divine. Goddesses / Gods are you. Spirit has caused you of Itself to live and express as potential. No condition can refute the true nature of your Divinity, merely prompt its unfoldment. PERSONALIZATION

In psychology, personality is understood as "… the patterns of behavior, thought, and emotion unique to an individual"; it is further believed that these traits are derived predominantly from the mimicking of parents and other childhood influences. In metaphysics we see personality as the projection of Spiritual attributes and qualities unique to the individual with ancillary traits associated to family. Each individual is a spark of Spirit, a projection of the Over Soul expressing as form on a great continuum. Dynamic Personality is the animation of our inherent reality, which is Spiritual.

RELATIONSHIP

All individuals are connected to the Source of Life; and yet it is far deeper than a mere connection. That which is God is in and through all creation - It is Creation Itself. The manifest universe is the Body of God. Therefore, all that you are, and all that you could possibly be, emanates of the Source. Every individual is you, beyond the concept of brother and sister – each is the very Thing that is you. What you are to others is a reflection of who you are to yourself. This is the meaning of Love thy neighbor as thyself. Don’t wait for someone else to change, initiate the change you are seeking. A shift in you will initiate understanding, communication and cooperation, with the promise of a new level of loving relationships – after all, It is All ONE.

A Fresh New Start

We each long for new beginnings, seeking any opportunity to bring in a New Year. With every new moment is opportunity for change of direction: job, relationship, prosperity, health, or the release from addiction. The life of our experience is ever changing; yet, there remain two apparent diverging constants: the habitual recurrence of unwanted behavior and that Infinite Power which sustains you in Its perfection. The former is a changeable variant that takes constant diligence and a deepening depend- ence upon the latter. Anything can be changed through the power of that Special Something which indwells you.

In the Coming of the Light

A great artist working with wood chiseled out a magnificent horse. When asked how he had achieved such a splendid work he said that he allowed himself to come into a oneness with the tree, as the horse was always within the tree. He claimed that all he did was chisel away at what was not needed so as to expose the horse within.
Within you is an Inherent Radiance. As you give praise and thanks for this Truth, you allow for the revelation of your perfection. You are Magnificent. Gratitude, like the work of a master craftsman, will chip by chip reveal your brilliance and who God is as you this day, and all the days to follow.

Celebrating Your Divinity

Desire flows from within. Yet the mind cannot receive that which it refuses to entertain. Goodness is the Ultimate Reality which forever sustains us in Its care. ‘To know this Truth…” will create the means to free your desires into experience. Allow your mind to explore a higher Truth; that which is real and true will find It’s outlet through you. All that you seek is already a possibility in the Mind of God. The Source is forever projecting Itself in and through all your imagining. An open mind generates healthy, happy, fulfilled living. Nothing is beyond the one who will but recognize that good already is. Expect the best and it will find its outlet through you.

The Creative Nature of Being

Creative Mind is always creative. That is the law of its own being. It does not know that when we think thoughts of despair and entertain fear we do not desire it to create these conditions. But it must obey our thought. Since we have the power to choose that which we shall think, we can reject the thought which we do not want to objectify and consciously choose the thoughts which will create the type of experience which we desire. This choice must be backed up by conviction. We must get the feeling of our thought objectifying. It is this conviction, or feeling, that gives thought its power. Our negative thoughts sometimes carry stronger emotional feelings than our positive thoughts. Therefore, it is necessary to cultivate strong feelings regarding our constructive desire. As we think about it and mentally live that which we desire to express, our conviction about it will grow.

Consciousness is Everything

Consciousness is our perceptions of life acting upon the subjective (soul) side of the Infinite Mind, thus creating the world of our experience. A shift in thinking will adjust Individual Consciousness to create a shift in the experience. The Collective Consciousness of the Race is directly influenced by the thoughts of each human being about the world. God Consciousness is related to our Spiritual identity and is the higher idea sustained in the Absolute. Individually, as we shift our thinking, we move up in accord with the higher God Consciousness (Christ-Self). This influences humanity for the better. Working on you reshapes the whole of humanity. By acting in love you can directly affect the Collective Consciousness of the Race, and the world as a whole can become more blissful.

The Qualities of God / Source

To better understand the nature of the individual we look first to the qualities of the Source of All-Being - God. All emanates of It; and, so we surmise that It must be Life , as life just is. So too it must be Love, as the very desire to create and give of Itself to all is an act of love. The gift of inspiration, to the knowing of things most profound is an outflow of this love, hence, Light. It is Almighty, Singular and One; and, therefore, It is Power. Of this Absolute Power - without opposition - a state of Peace most assuredly must follow. Out of this non-resistance we find symmetry, synchronicity and orderliness; a testament to a condition of Beauty. The final result is a quality of Joy, resultant of a state of creative satisfaction. To be of Source, these characteristics must also be with you - your truth - your essence - inherent in all that you are.

A New Take on Life

A Divine Intelligence permeates the universe. This is the Mind of God, the mind out of which you think and express. Robert Browning once wrote, "God is Love and God is Law." We have grown to understand this concept of Love; it is equally important to be aware of Law. The Law of Mind is the Creative Medium out of which the Divine Thinker causes spiritual ideas to formulate. You too are a thinker; as you think you create through the Creative Medium - the Law of Mind. Consciously creating is an act of love. Acting intentionally - committing ideas by way of thoughts and words - you verbalize through the Law of Mind concepts into form. In all our ways we must temper Love with Law consciously choosing that which is ideal and perfect for our lives.

Courting the Faith that Binds

Faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things unseen. Spiritual understanding strengthens a trust in that which is unseen. What becomes obvious out of this trust is the tangible works of your conscious prayers. The Coming of the Christ-consciousness

This Thing Called YOU

There are not two powers - good and evil - in struggle for supremacy. There is One Power, which resides as an Infinite / Limitless Mind. The concept of evil cannot be of a separate power, for all is One in Mind; and, Mind cannot work in opposition to Itself. Duality is a condition of confused thinking fostering offensiveness. An awareness of your personal power in Mind can release ideas of malice and hatred, while your Inherent Love sustains the Good. Goodness resides within your Mind, as does your power. Shift your thoughts; everything resolves to good. Goodness is seeking outlet as you. It is here, in Mind, that all sense of duality finds its end and the Power of Mind is once again renewed and singular.

Working With the Law
...creating the miraculous
Your thoughts are powerful and creative. You have heard that before; but, do you know it on the level of the miraculous? In the forward to Working With the Law, Raymond Holliwell explains, throughout this book, "I shall call God working in our lives Law, then as we strive to work with the Law we are living closer to God, and such living brings a greater understanding." This simple shift in awareness can transform doubt into acceptance.
Contemplate Law as a synonym for God. Begin to feel the difference between a hit and miss policy and the absolute response of Law to provide the miraculous. Conscious thought is prayer.
Make a conscious choice to affirm ideas which support your desires, knowing that the Law responds. Your thoughts are cause and the forms they take are the natural effects of your experience. This is ... the Truth which set you free.

Synchronistic YOU
...Universal Mind and the Individual

Everything seen is sustained by a supporting idea in Creative Mind. Creation is constant and never ending. The Infinite knows Itself through you, which implies co-creation. Synchronistic interactions with other individuals - healthy or injurious - are rooted in compatible beliefs sustained in Creative Mind. Now is the Only Reality

Now is the only Reality. Projecting tomorrow or dwelling in thoughts of yesterday will rob you of your most precious gift, the awareness of the Presence of NOW. All Life, mineral, plant and animal sustain in the moment - Now. Your physical body desires the same. Released of yesterday's burdens and the stress over the uncertainties of tomorrow, your body will naturally assume its inherent flawlessness. In its natural state, the physical body holds neither past nor future; its only reality is in this instant. We are meant to consciously release that which cannot sustain life. We see this in the simple way your lungs practice the art of Now. While breathing they expel the old and draw in the new. The moments between are lost in synchronistic flow. Take time each day to contemplate your breath and in doing so you can anchor yourself in a moment of Reality - in the Presence of NOW.

The Power of Spiritual Understanding

It is said that God makes the sun to shine on the good and the wicked alike. There are no favorites - all are favored alike. The difference between the lucky and the unlucky is the nature of their individual beliefs. Faith in oneself or faith in God are each a belief that whatever is focused upon will increase and be strengthened into a tangible experience.

To have faith, indicates a profound trust in things that are intangible. Spiritual understanding strengthens a trust in that which is intangible. What becomes obvious out of this trust is the tangible works of your conscious prayers.
