Restorative Justice in Action on the Web
The Restorative Justice in Action web-site, designed to be separate and apart from this NTC site, can help construct a bridge from punitive practices to those designed exclusively to restore.
RestorativeJusticeInAction.net is an outreach designed to entice other communities by sharing what has been documented on video tape from our Restorative Justice in Action Television Show; offering encouragement from the strides taken by practitioners in various modalities of Restorative Justice here in Chicago.
New Thought Chicago is dedicated to the sharing of these triumphs with the world by encouraging practitioners and municipalities alike to take up best proven practices. Restore the faith by encouraging others to take similar action in their communities, allow the world to know that something can be done to reacquaint our youth with their childhood, and restore sanity and justice into the lives of our community. The world needs to know justice through peace and non-violent practice is succeeding.
The Restorative Justice in Action web-site will allow the viewer to navigate from the picture of one of the Restorative Justice in Action Cable show guests, including an inviting quotation, to a 3 - 5 minute video clip of courageous and educated practices: alternative approaches to a seemingly deteriorating society. Video clips, capsulizing stories of restored justice practices in households, schools, neighborhoods and communities. From these selected clips the viewer will move to another window where they will be given all the information needed to contact the offices of individual highlighted.
RJA.net will also provide valuable links to resources: organizations and individuals close by, and far reaching, in the society of Restorative Justice Practices.
